Beulah K. Browning

LEBANON– Beulah Kiser Browning, 88, went to be with the Lord Monday, Nov. 10, 2003.

Born May 31, 1915, in Russell County, a daughter of the late Orville and Nannie Davis Kiser, she was the wife of the late Clovis F. Browning. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist where she taught Sunday School for several years and was a member of the WMU.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Hughes, Myrtle Jernigan and Ritha Davis; and three brothers, Gaines Kiser, Ernest Kiser and Ulys Kiser.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Patty Vencille and husband James E. (E. J.) Vencille; and Betty Wayne Bishop and husband Elmer Bishop, all of Lebanon; also several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend special thanks to her care givers, Rachel Breeding, Zelma Hicks and Russell County Medical Center Home Health Care.

The funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, in the Bethel Baptist Church in Lebanon, with the Rev. Rick Meade and the Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Burial and the committal service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, in the Russell Memorial Cemetery. Those attending are requested to meet at the church by 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Milton Greene, Orville Davis, J. T. Kelly, Danny Davis, Clifford Kiser and Larry Kiser.

Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the Bethel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, prior to the service at the church.
